Q: Top |
How is eTelemet different
from other web services? |
A: |
Unlike other Internet stock
quote providers and websites, eTelemet uses a separate set of windows to manage your
portfolio. Simply put, this is not a browser-based application. This allows the user to
peruse the Internet at will, without affecting the eTelemet window(s). No more waiting for
HTML, JAVA or CGI scripts to load. Telemet believes this to be an advantage, we're sure
you will to. |

How is eTelemet delivered? |
A: |
The use of satellite and
Internet standards allow Telemet to provide dynamic (continuous) updates in real-time or
on a delayed basis. |
Q: Top |
Can I get real-time data or
is the data delayed? |
A: |
The eTelemet system is
designed to allow a user to subscribe to either real-time or delayed quotes. The three
classes of rates offered by most US exchanges are; real-time data for professional
investors, real-time for non-professionals, and delayed quotes. For those customers that
select real-time exchange data, signed exchange agreements must be submitted to Telemet.
Applicable monthly fees are added to the basic service fee. Market indices and news
services are real-time, regardless of whether the user selects real-time or delayed
quotes. |
